Troubleshooting technical problems:
If you are experiencing technical errors outside of a password reset, please provide the details of your experience (screen shot(s) and detailed error message) to first.support@algorithmics.com so we may help you resolve them.

You may be able to resolve the problem yourself. Please try the following before contacting us:

Connectivity Check List:
1. Verify that you have live internet access. You may do this by visiting any other Internet site.

2. The Algo FIRST Database supports MS Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 or higher and Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher. Please note that your browser must be set to allow the following:
    (i) must allow cookies
    (i) must allow pop-up windows
    (i) must be able to execute Javascript


3. Depending on which browser you use you will need to check for the settings listed above:
    For MS Internet Explorer - go to Internet Tools | Options | Privacy (for cookies) and check
    Tools | Pop-up Blocker and ensure that the pop-up blocker is not on.
    For Mozilla Firefox - go to Tools | Options | Content Tab, and update your settings
    accordingly.

After performing the steps above, close ALL browser windows and re-launch the browser again and try logging in.

Note: To perform step three you may have to have Administration rights on your computer to change these settings. If you do not have administrator rights you should contact your IT department and provide them with this information.

Other Issues:
There are other factors that may impact your ability to use FIRST properly. These may include: slow network connection, proxy server timeouts, or browser settings locked down for security reasons. Please contact us at first.support@algorithmics.com and we will work with you and your IT department to resolve any such issues.
